I was about 8 years old when I first heard and watched disney movies and I think lion king was the first disney movie I watched, but 3 years later I saw for the first time: The little Mermaid and loved it! HELP THE GERMAN ARIEL FANS !!!!! In Germany for the re-release of "The little mermaid" in 1998 sth. incredible happened! THE WHLE MOVIE WAS DUBBED NEW AND EVEN THE LYRICS AND DIALOGUE WERE CHANGED!!! Every German Disney fan hates this new dubbing because it ruined all the charm the movie had before with the first German dubbing. Could you imgine Christina Aguilera speak and sing the role of Ariel? That's kind of what happened in Germany. To have our original Ariel back we have started petitions on the internet for people to sign. Meeko, I love Ariel. She is my idol. I had a hard life when I was a child and even harder adult life. I can always turn on The Little Mermaid and get cheered up it does not matter what kind of the mood I'm in.
