I've always adored the Little Mermaid ever since it first came out. When i was little i would watch it 2-3 times a day! I knew the whole movie by heart! Thanks for putting such a cool website up! Yes, I am going to say exactly what everybody who has signed this guestbook has said...The Little Mermaid is the GREATEST film of all time, and congratulations Meeko for devoting a website to this spectacular movie!
I have always loved The Little Mermaid, I used to get the magazine Ariel's World, but it was stopped halfway through the series :-(
Niether was I lucky enough to own a copy of the film, and I had only seen snatches of it once and could not remember most of it. Until I discovered Amazon, and now I am the proud owner of the video and the soundtrack.
But I was always hooked on The Little Mermaid, even though I could barely remember the film, knew none of the songs, and only really knew about her through my few magazines and story tapes. I guess my fascination with mermaids of the sea was born of my childhood dream to be a mermaid myself. I suppose I'm a kind of Ariel in reverse, always wanting to be near the sea and one day end up being 'Part of that world'.
What I'm trying to say is...it isn't every day a film comes along and touches you in that special place, and totally sums up your childhood dreams and wishes for that 'Disney-simplicity', but The Little Mermaid has done that for me.
I'm glad to know that so many other people out there (especially fellow teenagers - nice to know I'm not alone in my love for Disney, even at this age)love this film and its makers as much as I do. And it's great to see boys singing the film's praises too, go for it!
Thankyou Disney, and I'm sorry if I have bored anyone or wasted valuable internet space by typing about my opinions and warbling on about my past that I'm sure you don't really need to know about.

I luv The little mermaid shes so preety and i wish i was a mermaid. I also luv the sea one day i wish 2 b able 2 swim with dolphins and i wish i could live in the sea. this is such a great website. there is so much info and i love it because this has been my fave movie since i was little. Random comment- The scene in the film where ursela is taking ariels voice and giving her legs in return, thats my favourite bit in the film, but on my video it skips!

I love the little mermaid!!!!!I pray every night that someday I will meet or even be a mermaid!!!!!my friends think I'm a totall dork.I have two dogs and their names are Ariel and Flounder.So Far I have watched the movie 67 times.I hope to reach my goal of 100.I LOVE THIS MOVIE!
